Saab Key Programming

Saab cars built from 1994 have an immobilizer system based on keys that are coded. A new transponder is required in order to enable the addition of an additional key, and special programming. This is usually done at the dealer using a special Tech2 diagnostic tool.
It can be costly. This is why it is important to always have a spare key on hand.
Transponder key
The transponder can be described as a key that has an electronic chip. This chip sends a signal when the key is placed in the ignition. The car then checks the signal to see whether it is identical to the one that is in the key. If the signals are in sync the car will then unlock and begin. Jump-starting the battery
